Independent support. Direct communication.

About Keelfort IT

Keelfort IT is an owner-led IT support business helping Belfast homes, sole traders and small teams with everyday technology. Practical help, clear explanations and an agreed cost come before work begins.

Meet the owner

Stuart McIntosh

Stuart is the owner and your direct contact for assessing the problem, arranging an appointment and explaining the work. Keelfort is a small business, not a large service desk.

The approach is straightforward: find out what has stopped working, consider the impact, check the likely causes and explain a suitable next step. Recommendations should fit the person or business, rather than turn every fault into a new equipment purchase.

Discuss your problem with Stuart or check the published guide prices.

What you can expect

Clear communication

Explain the issue in your own words. The proposed work, important limits and expected cost are discussed before changes are made.

Practical support

Help with PCs, laptops, email, Microsoft 365, user accounts, Wi-Fi, printers, backup planning and basic account/device security.

Honest boundaries

If a fault needs a hardware specialist, advanced security work or your existing provider, that is explained. No invented guarantees or pressure to buy a contract.

Belfast visits. Remote support across Northern Ireland.

On-site, by appointment

Belfast is the primary on-site service area. Visits to surrounding areas are considered by arrangement: send your postcode so availability, travel and any access requirements can be confirmed. There is no advertised walk-in repair counter.

Remote when it makes sense

Suitable email, software and account problems can often be investigated without a visit when the device starts and has internet access. Remote access begins only with your permission.

How remote support works

Support that fits a smaller business

Keelfort aims to build lasting working relationships through clear advice, careful changes and useful explanations after a job. One-off support is available without a long contract. Regular requirements are discussed after the users, devices and business needs are understood.

This is not guaranteed 24/7 cover, continuous monitoring or a staffed enterprise help desk. Businesses needing response-time agreements, complex infrastructure management, formal certification or specialist incident response should choose an appropriately equipped provider.

Your next step

Tell Stuart what needs to work.

Include your location, affected devices and a short description. Availability, scope and the expected cost are agreed before support begins.
